Hey guys...
I've read every single Navigon 6 post now, but everything is still not so clear... *gg*

I have a Transonic 4000 PNA with MN|5 installed, maps for europe.
Now i've downloaded the MN|6 version here (not this PDA version, got the File "Navigon_MobileNavigator6.1_Multilanguage_Transonic.rar"), and a europe map.

Is it working? Or is it 50km Demo? Do i need these map codes, or a c**ck for it?

It would be great, if you can answer this final question for me! :)

New to this forum posting lark :? so appologies in advance if I do not post correctly.

Just installed on a Navman (mio 168)... runs slower than my packaged gps but maps are newer (yes my installed maps were that old!)

Only probs I had were (all have been resolved by reading forum posts):
1/Write protection was set to 'read only' on SD card fording me to re-enter my option settings each time I loaded the software.

2/When installing using DVD setup I did was having probs installing map as I had not realise the need to put all map files in map folder prior to install (still learning lol).

Seems to run fine... not road tested yet.. I am particularly interested in clear voice directions as I run PDA as satnav on a my motorbike with PDA out of view so will rely solely on voice prompts.

Much better than my currently installed smartst :)

I am not a fan of TOMTOM at the mo (largely due to me not being able to get any cr*cked versions to run on my PDA... but that's a different story (and forum!))

All in all an excellent bit of kit :) Although I have 1 question... how do you get the voice command option to work? When pressed it says 'No voice command has been stored'.

Thanks in advance

I've sorted my prob with voice commands..

One other Q though... what is the process to install the PIO warner overlays for GB?

Thanks

There is absolutely no way to make navigon work with the Windows CE OS? I have an Medion MDPNA 200 now and i have tom tom 6 on it and it works great, but for it there are no eastern europe maps available.

Use "DVD Setup".
Put the map you want to install into the maps folder of "DVD Setup" before installing the software.
Install from "DVD Setup" and replace the the .exe after installing.
You then will have all files - the sound files too.
