I have read in forum that the update for PDA should be avaible for Garmin Crew since Friday 16.02.07.
If this is right it should be avaible for all other to download this week.

Thanks for this software.
Installed with the DVD option and GB map OK, it also found my GPS OK.
Started my ppc only to find it doing a full OS install, so I have lost all my previous settings, programs and data. I can only assume this is a result of loading Navigon, as it has never happened before. In addition to this, it also freezes when trying to exit and I have to remove the battery to regain control of my ppc. So all in all, it is quite a troublesome programme to use.

I have previously only used TomTom 5 and now 6 with their 6.60xxxx maps and comparing the two GB maps, Navigon seems more up to date. It takes much longer to start than TT and I have not yet tested on the road, but my first impressions are that TomTom is more user friendly with better menus and options. Having said that, sat nav is only as good as its maps, and if those maps are more up to date and accurate, it looks like I could be using Navigon from now on. Testing on the road later today.
Can anyone tell me if there are UK speed cameras available, and are they as easy to install as with TT.

POIs are a pain in MN6 - need their special SDK to import them. You can use POIWarner instead (this is then pretty easy, just dump the appropriate asc and bmp files in the right folder), but the icons don't show up in 6.0 in the 3d view. This is meant to be fixed in 6.1 (update to come out shortly). You can enable the speedcamera POIs in MN6 that came with the map - these do show up in the 3D view, but are obviously out of date as they are tied to the map. Note: If you are using POIWarner, make sure your BMP files are 256 colour or MN6 will crash!

Very interesting - It doesn't for me, and I've seen postings to the same effect for other people. What is you POIWarner version, PDA HW?

For me it works with POI-Warner 2.9846 and MN6 at a Pocket Loox 720.

Bad ist the size of the POIs because of the VGA-Display.

Okay - being stupid - they don't show up in the 3D view unless there is a GPS signal.

With DVD setup is not neccessary to burn a DVD! Put files in a directory on Hard disk and put map in map directory. Click on start.exe, select language, installation, SD card in a reader and install on it.
The file in DVD setup is:
directory:
install\data\apps data\brand data\xml
install\software\2577 software\MN6
install\lang\1 to 32
manuals
maps\img maps\ini

autorun.inf
start.exe
