trmc, what kind of problem did you have ?
If this is the internal gps who is not detected, try this registry modification

HKLM/SYSTEM/Currentcontrolset/GPSIntermediateDriver/Drivers/GPSoneDevice/pollintervall=3000

This works fine for me but I can't find any solutions for the BT GPS who is not working with 2much version.

How did you succeeded in making it work on a Diamond ? I tried and no more luck than others WM6 devices here...

maybe u can try to install virtcomm.
i'm running virtcomm on my athena and mn7 connects to my bt-gps w/o problems.

d/l it here:
Code: Select allhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=O3BBFCS0

multilang manual included.

take care that cardexport is closed when running virtcomm. it prevents the bt-connection
dunno why but so it does on my device.

good luck

leckmich wrote:Hello Everybody,

has anyone an idea to get it running on an Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N560 ?

Both versions, 7.3.0 and 7.3.1 just craches a few seconds after the bootscreen displayed.

Greetings

I have it on my N560 without any Problems(install like descibed), now... there was only a Problem with the TMC, because it would only take TMC via a Bluetooth device and not one on serial 1 in the powercord. But i found the soulution via google:

you must change your UserSettings.xml (in the folder "Settings"):

<TMC>
<RadioStationScan>0</RadioStationScan>
<AutoRecalculation>0</AutoRecalculation>
<PreferPay>0</PreferPay>
<TMCPort>1</TMCPort>
<TMCBaudrate>38400</TMCBaudrate>
<DRVPrefix>COM</DRVPrefix>
</TMC>
<GPS>
<Type>2</Type>
<GPSPort>8</GPSPort>
<TMCPort />
<Baudrate>57600</Baudrate>
<DRVPrefix>COM</DRVPrefix>
<BluetoothDevice>
<Name />
<Address />
</BluetoothDevice>
</GPS>

If you have not installed the GPS-Fix-Patch from Fujitsu-Siemens for your device, please reduce the baudrate from 57600 to 9600

After that Navigon worked like a charme on my n560.

I have installed version 7.3.1 on my HTC Touch Diamond and am enjoying it very much. However there is one issue that is really annoying. For some reason the information on how far in minutes it is until I reach my destination isn't displayed correctly. It's being cut of so instead of showing for example 00:08 (8 minutes left) it shows 00:... Very annoying!! I have tried on landscape mode but still the same result.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it because the Touch Diamond display has 640*480 resolution? Is there a way to fix this?

I have enclosed a screenshot of the problem so that you can see what I mean.

Help very much appreciated!

10 print "hello world"
20 goto 10
:D

I have the same problem that the software wouldn´t start or the gps cant be activated.

Following worked on my Asus 636:

I downloaded and installed the test version from navigon
http://www.navigon.com/site/de/de/produ ... #tryAndBuy

I activated the wlan connection to the internet and said i would test it.
After that everything worked. Now I closed the software and copied over the software from post #1,
except the "DEVICE.xml". From now everything worked perfectly. After that I copied over the Q04/2008
maps (link in post #1) and now I´ve got the newest one working perfectly, yesterday I tried it for
a trip at about 100km.

Much luck,
Bernie

Yup same problem here on my Dell x51v. Annoying that you can't see time to destination or time remaining. Not sure what can be changed in the .res file or settings xml file to increase the size of that box.

My problem is rather diferent. On my Touch HD it doesn't find the GPS receiver. Managed to edit the XML's because of the 800x480 resolution and everything works OK with Q4 maps, but the dam receiver doesn't show up neither with manual config (COM4, 34800 baund) or Auto Detecting. TomTom 7 works perfect. Any ideas?

Found the problem. Must configure the GPS with 4800 bound rate. Strange because I use 34800 with TomTom and works OK.
So, another happy Touch HD user with MN7 working flawless :D If anyone has problems with TouchHD I'll be glad to help.

To use Rapidshare without a Premium Account just use Cryptload 1.1.6. Very usefull. I have Rapid Premium but use it for MegaUpload links. It resets the router to change the IP and all full automatic.

But for your case, here you have just the Greek Map Q4. Have fun.
