Excuse the stupid question, but has anyone found a way to convert garmin .img maps to Navigon's format (.map, is it?). My father purchased a Navigon GPS and there's no maps for our area (South America). I was told there was no way of doing that, but that was a few months ago... so I'm just checking if there's been any breakthroughs or progress in this subject.
Cheers.

Hello,

I come back with my problem with the sound:
When i'm in vibrator mode and if i launch MN, i have no sound in it.
Is it the same for you?
I found Commanager+
It put the sound on when i launch MN, but when i exit, the sound stay on.
An idea?

Thanks.

For some reason the information on how far in minutes it is until I reach my destination isn't displayed correctly. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it because the Touch Diamond display has 640*480 resolution? Is there a way to fix this?

I have enclosed a screenshot of the problem so that you can see what I mean.

Help very much appreciated!

Hi,

You have to put arial.ttf, arialk.ttf and arialbd.ttf in your \Windows\Fonts folder. To download the fonts, just google for it.

Thx for this release! much appreciated.

Just a question:
does anyone know which syntax to enter in the sys ini or configure ini file to make navigon when started to automatically switch to landscape mode instead of the portray mode that it always starts with?

thx.

Hello All, after several tries, I was able to install MN7 on Treo 800w and it seems to detect the GPS fine. In fact I tried one map and it worked fine first time, BUT.... afterthat every time i try it it is finding the GPS but what ever destination i choose, it is trying to route the direction from the same starting point...my home address.

It is always using my home address as the starting point, no matter where i am. Please, if any one has any idea on what might be happening, your help is appreciated.

Other problems i have is no TTS, I will have to try other sound files.
