Thanks to a faithful adaptation of the menu functions, the NAVIGON MobileNavigator fits in seamlessly with the Android operating concept.

On-board navigation entails no data transfer or roaming charges, for example, for route calculation or map displays. Regular updates ensure your MobileNavigator is always up to date.

- The map material must be downloaded after installing the app via NAVIGON Fresh on a PC or via wireless Internet on the smartphone. Please ensure a reliable and safe connection is available.
- Samsung users: please only download using wireless Internet!
Not for Samsung i5700 (Spica)!
- on first startup a short data connection (ca. 25kB) is required to register your product

Is this actually cracked or does it require data connection on every startup?

I'd like to know that too before wiping of 3.5.4 which has been working fine.

Thanks

Unfortunately, you DO need a data connection to start this. Otherwise, it's FC heaven. And I get no information under the Traffic window in this program. :(

The Filesonic mirror has a rar type file and when I try to install it opens a directory and won't install. How do you install that type of file. I already tried to change the extension to .apk but doesn't work.

the .apk file is compressed inside the .rar file. Use some file manager to extract the .apk file. For example

http://www.7-zip.org/

edit: actually the filesonic mirror links to I guess the file archive and not the apk so use the first link

Was working for a couple of days but now FC's consistently regardless of network state (airplane mode included) with "The application NAVIGON (process come.navigon.navigator_checkout_na) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

It was a nice attempt...keep at it!

If you are rooted download titanium backup pro and root explorer.

1) with Root Explorer navigate to data/dalvik-cache and delete everything inside and restart your phone.

if that doesn't work try

2) with titanium backup pro freeze the google market app

Clearing Dalvik cache didn't work, but freezing Market does...a small PIA and who need Market when you're driving anyway :-)!! Thanks!

the "short data check on first startup" happens on EVERY startup on my phone. neither of the above worked for me on Evo 3D. we really need a version that is cracked for registration fully - no data check. the biggest reason to have this on my phone is when data is not available, because when I have data I use google navigation. works well, but I will be going back to 3.5.4
