You will need (All included in one of files above):
1)Navigon-us-modified 3.5.4.apk
2)Navigon 3.5.0.apk
3)Navigon Fresh: http://www.navigon.com/portal/de/karten ... fresh.html

How To:
1)Install Navigon Fresh on your computer, but do no run it.
2)If you have some leftovers from previous Navigon installations on your phone delete them. Also Navigon folder on your SD card.
3)Install and run Navigon-us-modified 3.5.4.apk (In the file what you downloaded I think it is simply called 3.5.4 or US)
4)Allow Navigon 3.5.4 to download files through Wi-Fi (also maybe through Mobile Internet, but in post mentioned through Wi-Fi) till 1%. Then cancel it.
5)Delete Navigon installed on your device and delete all files on SD card except version.xml (leave the file in the Navigon folder simply delete all other files in Nqvigon folder)
6)Then open this file and change the following(Open it with a any text editor on your device):
Change only the RED

Take notice that the IMEI is the same as your device IMEI. The ID is the same as the IMEI. (When I did it I already had it like that, but to be sure)


7)Now Install Navigon 3.5.0, but do not start it!
Connect your phone to PC through USB and make new account in Navigon fresh. (Make fake profile with e-mail what you do not use. I found e-mail provider that allow to make new e-mail for 1 hour, then it simply deletes. Also suggested in topic is that you do not provide your phones model, make something up )
9)Now you should see that Navigon Fresh allows to download about 40 European maps. Select one and download. (Select the smallest, because the all maps will be downloaded when you start the program)
10)Then also download the file that is shown where the 40 maps were. I think it was RADARS or something.
11)Close Navigon Fresh and disconnect phone.
12)Now when you open Android Market there should be update allowing to update to the newest version Navigon, If not run Navigon on phone and close it, see the market again. If also then no luck on update simply download Navigon Select (Free App) from Android Market.

I tried to do like that, but my mobile provider do not allow to download Navigon Select from Android Market(It simply was not there), so I found Navigon Select 3.6.1 on the Internet and Installed. For me everything works ok. No need of internet when starting. (Only to download maps and files)

Anyone with Select 3.6.2 or 3.6.1 apk...I can not download it from Market and 3.5.0 gives me FC on Sensation

Using the market.app "freeze" it works great with ZTE Blade/SanFrancisco CM7 2.3.3....

I assume 3.6.1 in not changed concerning the inet over WIFI or Mobile connection compared to 3.6.0.
Both versions need a short connection until the first menu appears. The connection is used to get into contact with google market. If this first time connection is impossible the app will crash!
(If you are starting with inet ones, and than disable inet, and than navigon stays on top or in the background it will not crash)

Thanks, procedure works fine on my HTC Desire, update with market version 3.6.2 is OK.

I get it to start (version 3.6.2) but when i choose to download thru PC it says no memory card. Does anyone have a solution for that? Xperia X10
