I have tried all day without luck with Garmin and TomTom. I have read in other posts and forums that a lot of people had trouble installing TomTom and Garmin. Maybe the core do not have all the .dlls like Mio Digiwalkwer series.
I´m using Dependency Walker to try to find all .dlls because some of them are for other processor (xScale/Thumb).
I know that some people made Garmin work on Mio Moov 300 but they did the same things as me.
I will continue because i need Gamin. There is no maps from Argentina for IGo8 or Napigator.
Thanks for the help and if you have any idea please tell me.

It uses a dedicated SD port for GPS. The name has been confirmed is "Storage Card" and not "SDMMC".
I've tired various solutions posted with the 21 pages herein but failed.
The system only show exe files and not able to start with mscr as Mio 720 mentioned.
I've also downloaded Mio 720's files and not able to kick start Garmin (waited for >10 mins).
I don't know if I need the port spiltter but is does show up and I need to use com1 and 6 position (I am still testing this area).
Otherwise the error message is "Can't Open Port...".
Any input or suggesstions would be greatly appericated.
Thanks.

Try this trick mscr.exe out maybe its work and you get some luck with it?
;)

Hi Mio 720,
Please repost the mscr.exe as there is no linkage.
Thanks.

Ok Mio 720.
I'll try that & experiment on it.
Thanks.

By the way, Car DVD Player with GPS does not show the window like what we see on a normal PDA Win CE5.0
It only have a allocated GPS SD card slot, a GPS button (on the panel & touch screen) to push.
And it depends on the setting manual which one goes to GPS section and point to the "right file" to start the process.
It only shows folders & exe files only.
No window sreen, no explorer, and all depends on telling the machine where is the exe file located and then press the GPS button to launch the GPS program.

Anyway, after 1/2 hour....
I've formatted the SD Card.
Input Mio 720's "Garmin" (Complete with all files).
Changed Garmin.mscr to Garmin.mscr.exe
Put in Base Map & Map for GarminXT MalSin V2.30 GOLD Fixed (no need unlock code).
Try it but the Car DVD Player cum GPS does not read it.

Then back to drawing board.
I later use the Garmin.exe (is a MortRunner file) in the Garmin file and the Garmin.mscr seem to be working.
As I can see the error message of " Can not open the input port".
I can see from port splitter program that it has Com 1 follow by Com 3 follow by Com 4 and last one is Com 1 again?
Plenty of Baud Rate from 110 to xxxxxxxx.
This time I changed to using com 1 & 8 position but still receive the above error message.

I think the last time I put all the exe files in the root directory and change the mscr script to look for at root dir.
And that seems to work until the port splitter only and fail to go further than that.
But this time is not working & I must have done something wrong this time.
Am I doing something wrong and not following the guidance given herein?

Would love to see it working.......any suggestions?

Reset your ipaq with celauncher.exe (check the forum for downloading) in the root of the sd card. Of course, I presume you have the Garmin on sd card as well. You should be able to access the ce windows and the explorer to locate the file in the sd card. Create shortcut just like you do so in the windows xp.

I have made a pack of dlls for Garmin XT and tested with Dapendency Walker without errors. A few dlls I have to converted from Thumb to ARM because I couldn´t find them on internet.
The only problem is when I run QUE.EXE I have an error:
Cannot find "QUE" (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available. I don´t know why but I´m still trying.

Hi dimirass. I have uploaded my TT version that is working with my Mio Moov and WM folder of Garmin XT. In the file you will see WM and WM1. WM has the files that don´t show any error when you run que.exe. And in WM1 you will find my files. The .dlls are hexedited to allways call COREDL2.DLL and AYGSHEL2.DLL. If you test them with Dependency Walker you will have no error. There are all the functions and files that que.exe needs.
Anyone knows if there is a software for WinCE to see what files are open when you run an .exe file.
I use Process Monitor and Process explorer from Sysinternal in Windows XP (very usefull tools to remove rear virus) and I´m looking for something similar for WinCE
Good luck with the files!!

Any hints at least which file we need to look into? I know the buttons at the bottom were fixed by altering the xxx240.dll, could this one be due to the xxx480.dll?

Thanks...the graphics are crude and pretty lame anyways, we don't need this extra aggravation ;)
