Have anyone this software working with a external GPS (in my case HOLUX M1000) that is not a Garmin one?
I tried using Franson GPS gateway and GPSProxy and there is no way I can have this working. He never recognize my receiver.

If You are using Franson GPSGate, don't use Virtual COM port with Garmin emulator, use instead only Virtual COM port. There are another solutions - use notfaker's crack or JetMouse keygen
I have old good HP2210 and CF Navilock GPS. Cracked GMXT doesn't recognize my Navilock, I must use Franson GPSGate configured for input on COM7 and output on Virtual COM8. At first start GPSGate I need remove standard Bluetooth on COM8 (via Edit button in GPSGate) for working Franson Virtual COM8.

As stated by johan, GPSGate Forum Admin, in this post, there's no way to make Franson GPS Gate working with Garmin Mobile XT; only with Garmin Que.
Garmin Mobile XT does not currently support GpsGate, please ask Garmin to get a real ...
Or, GpsGate does not support Garmin XT, there is currently no release date or specific plabns to include such support.

Regardin Garmin Mobile XT with the JetMouse Keygen, I have personally tested it - until now - with:
HTC Touch Dual (WM6, external SirfStar III Bluetooth GPS, a chinese one, son of nobody) -> WORK;
HTC P3600 (WM5, GPS Embedded) -> WORK;
Mio A201 (WM5, GPS Embedded) -> WORK;
qTek 2020i (WM2003SE, external SirfStar III Bluetooth GPS, a chinese one, same son of nobody) -> WORK;
i-mate JasJar (WM5, external SirfStar III Bluetooth GPS, a chinese one, same son of nobody) - WORK;
Sony-Ericsson P990i (Symbian v9.1 UIQ v3, external SirfStar III Bluetooth GPS, a chinese one, same son of nobody) -> WORK.
Moreover, as an owner of a Garmin GPS10 Bluetooth external antenna, I've tried to unlock only the maps (without using the SFW.UNL but only the GPSMAPSPP.UNL) and STILL WORKS!
So, I think that there are no problem at all...

I have a Holux GPSlim 236 working without GPS Gate. I use the internal GPS program port from within my settings on my HTC Herms running WM6. I have the Holux set to com port 2 and the program port set to com3. from with XT i set serial connection select com3 and it works fine. The last thing i need is another program running.

What is the latest North America map to use with an AXIM x51v?
I have the following:
- City Navigator North America v8
- City Navigator North America NT v8
- Metroguide North America v7 with MetroGold
- TOPO US 2008
Of all, only the Metroguide one seems to be routable.
So what's the best one to use? Can the others, when transfered to the PDA from MapSource, be made routable?
Thanks.

Hello,
after starting garmin it starts searching for extern bluetooth device (Garming-GPS-Device) which I donT have. I have intern GPS Receiver. There seems to be no way to change the preferences. What can I do?

This might be confusing for many. I try to explain in my bad english:
Garmin (routable) maps are locked "twice". First you need a long (I think 25 chars) code, to be able to register the map and to be able to view it in Map Source. This code you still need. (This is easy, internet is full of Garmin Maps with codes). Before Notfakers great work, the other step did not work: When you register the Map with Garmin, you´ll receive a new code, which is tied to your device-id. This means, that Your licence opens the map for specific Garmin device (such as Nuvi, GPS 10 or whatever) with its serial-number. When the map is uploaded from PC to the device and you start GMXT, a software-routine checks, that the licence number mactches this specific Garmin device. With Garmin Que 2.xxx this issue was solved with GPSProxy or GPSGate (additional applications). Those applications can simulate a specific device (device-ID), and with right device ID, you can use those routable maps.
.
You are right about the two steps protection Garmin used until now - by map unlocking code and device ID. But I'm not sure that the function of GPSProxy and GPSGate was to solve the second protection. These applications only convert "on the fly" the NMEA signal of whatever GPS receiver to the specific Garmin protocol as Garmin Que recognises only Garmin GPS receivers.
As far as I know, the protection of the img file is not overpassed.
An elegant way to overcome the problem was to use MetroGuide maps instead of CityNavigator. Normally, CityNavigator releases are the only fully routable maps of Garmin (an by consequence locked twice). MetroGuide doesn't allow to create routable map for handheld devices (the created GMAPSUPP.IMG file has the routing instructions disabled) but it is protected only with the first type of protection - the 25 digits unlocking code. However people found how to force MetroGuide generates routable img files, using a patch. But it is another story.

So, does anyone use GAMRIN with an intern GPS Receiver? And if yes, how can I do it? It keeps searching for bluetooth, also!!
