unpacked and installed in mapsource
map was unlockable
send to device (oregon450)
but on startup of gps devices it reports unable to authenticate map
i tried to add a .unl file with a generated key, but same problem

Any hints / tips how to solv

- now mapsource is just crashing
- basecamp wil show map, but also crashes when trying to send to device
Do i need a specific mapsource of basecamp version for this map ?

I was assuming the previous img file i created with mapsource was corrupted, so i deleted it
When i tried to create a new img file, mapsource started crashing on "creating imgfile / transfer to device"
I tried basecamp to same problem crashes on "creating imgfile / transfer to device"
So i cant try that unlock program atm.

Reinstalled mapsource (same problem)
Reinstalled mapsource map files (same problem)

So i tried the regeonal versions from the other post
- The scotland part seems to work without problem
- Midlands and South+Wales also work

To me it looks like the mapsourcefiles for "all of GB" is corrupt or just to big for my pc / version of mapsource
Also the mapid for scotland=2544 is the same for all=2544 while mapids for midlands=2545 and south=2546 is this correct ?. to me it seems wrong to have same mapid for all and scotland !

Update: nothing wrong with the mapsource files, everyting works fine on my laptop

in original all the same mapid 2544
the two single parts i have create new mapid that you can all parts show in mapsource

try the uninstall file in folder
and run it in all single and whole parts
then start only one part with install.bat and try again

if you have run ALL and SCO so you must get problem then the have the same mapid

It must be something wrong with my PC
I tried the same on my laptop and there it works without a problem
- regional maps (scotland/midlands/south) work and transfer to device works
- ALL map also works and transfer to device works

PS. i know i have to "uninstall" or remove registry entries manualy to use SCO / All maps
