You should take down the links for the map until you manage to sort this out.

I can`t copy this map on my unlocked nokia n95 8gb through pcsuite.
It says "you do not permition to complete the operation".
I suggest you to compile separate detailed EE map.Tnx in advance!

Sounds more like a pc suite related problem.
Anyway I'm sure pipi9100 is dooing his best to resolve the problem.We just need to have a little patience.

don't work on garminxt on samsung omina,sceen stop at garmin logo,with 2008 NT+Local Maps all ok

it could be maybe the 2GB limit, but as I noticed, expect long loading time when the XT application first starts after the new map is loaded. <happened to me also>

Anyway, I intend to make a new EU map under 2 GB limit, hope that then the members will have less problems.

I excluded only those two countries what I mentioned , everything else stays

We had just started downloading the maps. Glad we stopped for the night as now it looks like there is an update.

We were thinking would it be possible to make a set of maps that contains all the non-usual maps.

Most people have the standard Europe maps so if we could just swap out card when we go the the non standard countries it would be perfect for us.

The idea of combined maps is great but deciding on which ones to include is a hard decision. Thanks for your dedication in uploading and updating the maps on such a regulat basis and for helping out so many people out there in "mapland"

with al my respect..but the "huge" file it is pretty useless for me
and I cannot do to much with the maps because there are devices ( ex - HP ipaq 4700, treo 650 ) without SHDC
so ..the max size should be 1950 Mb ( otherwise does not fit on 2 Gb SD ).

Please, if is possible, make ONLY EE map ( starting from Hungary to Turkey )

PS . this new "cocked" map it is 2.126 Mb..
so ..no chance to fit to 2 Gb SD CARD ( not mention that I need at least 30 Mb for Software( GArmim XT)

The new map is still not good for my garmin mobile xt (
This time xt does not hang like it did with the big one , it start normaly but if i press the map buton in the bottom right corner it says "no map"
Also when trying to imput an adress it says "detailed maps are required"
