I'm not sure which, but there are some units that can NOT read the new NT map format (NT=new technology)

Our City Navigator North America NT DVD and data cards include the same detailed maps, points of interest and coverage areas as our traditional City Navigator North America data, just compressed differently for your NT compatible unit. It also includes traffic data that allows certain units to use traffic receivers. This product is for NT compatible units only. See the product compatibility table to the right for a list of compatible units.

Navifan, you are correct, regarding NT type maps, only newer models support this feature. From Garmin site, the compatibility list include Garmin mapping units such as Colorado series, GPSMap60Cx/CSx, GPSMap76Cx/CSx, eTrex Legend Cx/HCx, eTrex Venture Cx and eTrex Vista Cx/HCx.

Has anyone using HTC Touch or P3300 or wizard been able to make it run correctly please?
I installes id correctly but no way to have it running properly -> too slow.
First gps appliaction with that so slow speed...

Maybe you should try running it with GPSGate.

I don't see why it should go faster adding a soft that will share the gps!?!??!?!

I thought you meant "not running properly" as in some GPS softwares not working correctly in PDAs like HTC TyTN II, where the solution was to use GPSGate to stabilize GPS data coming from the receiver. GPSGate is not just for simple GPS data sharing.

Do you think that it can be so slow just because of the hardware (P3300)?
Do you think that can help to upgrade to WM6? I am still in WM5...

i cracked the garmin and works fine

but i have a problem with a adria-route map

i unlocked map in map source, but when i upload it on my htc tytn II , garmin says that map is locked. Please help


it worked well on 4.10.40 version
