I'M using version 25 with the cracked version of navigation.chc from here. (Thx for the cracker(s) ), BUT when i use ndrive "in action" after 20-30 seconds sometime later the map stops ( i mean the car cursor stuck in a position).
If i touch the screen, the ndrive found gps signal inmediatelly and put the cursor back to right postion and the navigation continues. After another minute or two, the process is starts again....
I'm using Mio C720.

Anybody had the same issue?

The exact same thing happens to me m8, I am using the g800 version. The satnav goes into standby/freezes after 60 seconds and only come out of that if I touch the screen or a button then the satnav starts working again.

At the time it was the only version I had available for WinCE 5, but I already knew that it could give problems. I have replaced G800 in 1st post by G400 known to be better patched.
Just give it a try. Delete MobileNavigator folder, copy navigation.chc and EXE to \Ndrive folder.

Don't forget to delete appdata

@mrdude:
Try this: http://rapidshare.com/files/232639116/N ... winCE5.zip , it's version with English and Polish LangPack, tested on several navigators with WinCE 5.0 and working OK.

Second solution:
mayby powermanagement freeze you navigator (problem known on TomTom 7 and some WinCE 5.0 navigators), try motrscript:
Code: Select allRegWriteDWord("HKLM", "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts","ACUserIdle","0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts","BattUserIdle","0")

or

Code: Select all#open "Power Properties" dialog:
Run("\windows\ctlpnl.exe","cplmain.cpl,5")
WaitForActive("Power Properties", 5)

#select power scheme card:
SendTab("Power Properties")
SendRight("Power Properties")

#select AC-power scheme:
SendTab("Power Properties")
SendRight("Power Properties")

#set user idle to never:
SendTab("Power Properties")
SendKeys("Power Properties", "N")

#select Battery-power scheme:
SendTab("Power Properties", 0, 1)
SendLeft("Power Properties")

#set user idle to never:
SendTab("Power Properties")
SendKeys("Power Properties", "N")

#we are done:
SendCr("Power Properties")

script with loader for test you can download here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/235275690/ndrive_loader.zip

unpack to root folder with NDrive, and run Ndrive_loader.exe

Hm, had version 3.4.25 running just fine, now I tried to install 3.5.18 and it loads, selects language but gets stuck on map saying something about SMS for activation....

which exe/navigation.chc do I need for WinCE5? I downloaded:

PNA 3.5.18 THANKS TO UNDERCODE AND WALEK75
WINCE 5 (finalmente G400_3.rar)

and

PNA 3.4.25 WINCE5 AND 4.2 THANKS TO UNDERCODE AND WALEK75
(finalmente_PDA.rar)

and tried both, but both say map is not registered. I found no way to enter any keys and don't know which one is cracked exe (if it is)....

@dalanik: choose Web Activation instead SMS Activation.
and enter any numbers twice: for serial no and for activation key

Thanx for quick reply, will give it a try, but to the best of my knowledge, it never asked me HOW I want to activate... well, maybee I just pressed something without noticing... we'll see.

Twingo wrote:I will try this new version as i did not give up on this program yet. I hope this time that it will work with the voice file :)

Edit: I have tried to install this version but i failed. First my mio 168 with windows mobile 2003 se use autorun and installs the WM6.cab, thats why it didnt work first. When i removed the WM6.cab file i tried to reinstall. Even that it didnt work because the autorun doesnt swap to the NDrive.cab (for wm2003). So when i renamed the NDrive.cab to NDriveWM6.cab the program whas installing the application. Now when i try to run the software it says ''Bad image file!''

My friend, as I told early in this tread you need to hard reset your device (all data will be reseted), then the aplication will autoinstall, then follow the instrutions in the first post and you are done.

agfsilva i am not stupid , i did a hard reset for 3 times. Its the program or my pocket pc. I never failed installing a GPS software, every gps software i installed worked for the first time except this one !

- Tomtom 3, 5 and 6
- iGo 2006 (SE)
- Miomap v3.3
- Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.20w
- Destinator 6
- Navigon v6.5
- iGo 8/Amigo

So i am very well experienced in gps installments, but this application makes me crazy

@ walek75

Cheers m8, that's it working with the mortscript now, I had to edit it slightly though to this:

RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts", "BattUserIdle", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\ActivityTimers\UserActivity", "Timeout", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts", "ACUserIdle", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts", "BattSystemIdle", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\ActivityTimers\SystemActivity", "Timeout", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts", "ACSystemIdle", "0")
RegWriteDWord("HKLM", "\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power", "DisableGwesPowerOff", "0")

That makes everything work fine now, cheers.

@mrdude:
Great bro. Yours solution must works, and it help everyone who have problem with PowerManagement issue.
Yours script is better than the one who i provided on previous post, have more power, but less magic (I love how the windows automatically are open and close and buttons push themselves ;) )

I found out that it's an actual fault with the software and not the way it's hacked m8.

I looked at the files you posted and found out what you did to hack the exe's, I then downloaded a fresh MobileNavigator.exe using ndrive agent and as I had already activated the maps using the hacked exe you posted I had the relevant ndri3.ndr in my data folder.

I then only changed 1 byte in the newly downloaded MobileNavigator.exe (the byte that deals with activation checks) at 0x16b57 and changed that to value EA so I could basically use an uncracked MobileNavigator.exe file.

Now the activation is bypassed as ndri3.ndr exists already & the check is skipped due to the one byte I changed - but still the app freezes, thus It must be a program fault for certain satnav units.

Maybe the next update will fix this - untill then the reg keys posted above or access using totalcommander to the power managent options seems the only way to make this version work properly.

What app are you guys using to decompile this program?

My question might by quite stupid actually vitorlage.... but what do you mean by saying "put this in the root directory of the SD Card? What should I put in order to run iGO maps (for ex.) and also unlock WinCE? I tried downloading a version of IGO 8 maps but after I deleted my SD Card and copy the two folders of IGO ( folders named 2577 and iGO8) and after restarting my Ndrive G800 nothing happened when I hit the Navigation Icon.

Thanks in advance.

This is offtopic, but some hints:
- Your G800 is a PNA and not a PDA, so you need the PNA version and not the Windows Mobile one
- When you hit the Navigation Icon it tries to start SD\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe, so your new application needs to be in that folder and you need to rename the exe to MobileNavigator.exe
- You could also place Total Commander in that folder, rename the exe and start other programs from there
- You could also place a menu program (search in forums) in that folder and configure it to start your other apps on the SD
