Hello,
This really works great I just have one question. How do you "browse map" with fake cursor? I am trying to get fake cursor grab and hold the map while I move it accross the screen, same as you would using a stylus on PPC.
Thanks in advance for any help

You can hold the center button down on your dpad and then click left or righ tor wahtever. Its a huge pain tho. I find for myself I only use TT on teh smartphone for very basic needs. Otherwise I just use a touchscreen device.

Is there anyone form Czech or Slovak Republic, who installed and started TomTom 6 successfully on HTC S710 Vox? I've installed it according to the manual provided. TomTom runs OK, but it can't find any maps (nor included guam map). I've copied it to my memory card - root folder, installed it also to Storage card (in spite of that, some files ale always installed to Main memory). But no maps can be found. I have also no idea, how to remap key, that vox uses to launch voice recognition if pressed, or messenger if held...
Can someone help me via ICQ? my ICQ nr is 276 569 632. I'll be very thanksful. I need tomtom 6 at least
I have read that iGo for SP is going to be released by the end of this year. Hope it's true.

I have found the fakecursor to be un-needed in many scenarios. Turns out there are keys mapped for many of the functions--ie, when in navigation mode:
c--switch from day to night
i--zoom in
o--zoom out
t--traffic
0--route detail
spacebar--repeat last command
etc.
Lots of key commands work in config mode too, like in voice selection--t==test, etc.
The question I have is--has anyone gotten this release to make phone calls to POI's? My unit always complains saying 'no dial tone found'.

Thanks for the tips. My main problem was selecting from a list. Are there any key commands that work for selecting items from a list?
I really want to find a good GPS app for my MotoQ, I hate having to keep my Treo 700wx in my truck just for GPS. I love iGuidance, too bad they aren't planning on releasing a Smartphone version.

Almost. Still figuring things out, lists are still a pain. I usually end up clicking left/right to scroll through and then typing out the item i want until it filters everything else out.
I have found that when in 'map' mode, the shift button moves the map cursor 'up', I haven't figured out 'down' yet.

diavolo wrote:As anybody been able to load and use TomTom6 to a Cingular 3125 yet??? If there has a way to do it.... Please let us kown how!! It would be very much appreciated.
I had TomTom 6 installed on my Cingular 3125 and it worked fine with FakeCursor (linked to the voice command button), and the I updated the ROM to the latest one from HTC's site. That's when TomTom 6 stopped working, giving me a message saying it wasn't compatible with my hardware.
A few minutes later I installed this Application Unlock utility by Surreal Networks ( http://mobile.surrealnetworks.com/AppUnlockReg.htm ) which makes sure that your phone is complete app unlocked, even though Cingular already provides the phone app unlocked. I restarted TomTom and it worked fine after this was installed. I'm assuming this should work for everyone else here with the same problem on the Cingular 3125.
Give it a try and let me know what happens.
