seems like they now use just 1 cab file for both PPCs and Smartphones because I used the PPC version a while back (when it was first released) and it works on my smartphone

Has anyone had any problems with this release? I have it installed on my Q9h (AT&T) and it plays the files fine, but I can't get a picture on any kind of file type. I've tried tweaking the settings to no avail. Any ideas?

What I'm saying is that no matter what file type I choose, it plays with sound but no image.

Tools -> Preferences -> Video

Check whether the Video Output setting is suitable for your device and maybe play around with it a bit.

Release Tester's Review
Core Player v1.2.4 Build 4204

Tested/Working on: WM6
Not tested on: PPC 2002, 2003+SE, WM5
Rating: Originality: 8/10 - Quality: 6/10 - Performance vs similar products: 4/10 -- Average: 6/10
Comment: I would like to start this review by stating that I believe CorePlayer to be perfect in almost every way. It is a great product though the smartphone version is slightly more crippled in UI performance than the PPC version. My issues here are related to the crack. I installed it. The rar included a serial and a cab. I looked through all the menu's and options and couldn't find a way to add the serial, but it was working fine and as said in this thread "No serial needed" so I continued using it. The next day I opened CorePlayer and it displayed a message complaining about invalid serial and exited. I was unable to add the key included in the rar. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It was working fine for a few hours and then I got it again "Unable to validate Serial Number and/or User ID." If anyone has a fix for this or a working link to a newer version please contact me. These tests were performed on a Motorola Q9c.
Also look at: on this site:
- TCPMP
- CorePlayer v1.2.5 Build 4506 (links are currently dead)
- CorePlayer Mobile v1.2.3 Build 4012 (has issues with some streaming sites)

Please respect the developer(s) of this software. If you download and use it, then buy or support it.
