hey, yeah there is this file, and if i delete it, my trial map is locked, if i paste the file again, my trial map is unlocked... it would be a good idea, that anyone who buys e.g. the europe map, to post his key file, maybe we can just overwrite our file and maybe europe map will be unlocked forever

no... in the INTERNAL memory, there is a file called "navkeys.dat" in "c/system/apps/route66_v8/data/res/"

that's the keyfile : navkeys.dat, which in \Data\res
if someone could crack it

an easyer way is it to ask the 6110 people, on this phone, the r66 software is preinstalled

maybe we should check if the IMEI number is registered in the key-file...

answer is elsewhere in this thread

i asked one how bought the r66 v8 and he said that there is no such file in the folder. thats crazy... maybe the 15 day trail is a code like the voucher code. and if there is a posibility to encrypt this code we can crack r66

I checked but it's not there. I was never able to activate a trial map, maybe that's why. I was hoping that by adding this file I would be able to use what ever trial map it was assigned to.

If you can, please upload file and I will give it a try.

1. open Route 66
2. Go to "Extras --> Maps"
3. Got to "Buy a license"
4. R66 will connect via GPRS (Wlan not)
5. In the "internet" you are able to click on "trial"

I've tried that before but it always says "Updating" and then "General Error". I've tried it a number of times but it always ends up with the same result.

One more thing I should have mentioned, I'm not running this on my phone but a PNA. The software runs fine with the World Map but I'm unable to activate any other maps by activating the 15 day trial.....sorry.
