Convekta Opening Instructor v1.0
Requirements: Pocket PCs with Windows Mobile 2006, Windows Mobile 2005, Windows Mobile 2003 and Pocket PC 2002. Requires dotNET CF 2.0.
Overview: Pocket Chess Opening Instructor is an interactive tutorial for Pocket PC for intermediate players. This is a perfect opening manual. The program features a theoretical review of all the chess openings , which are illustrated by instructive games of the chess players in XIX and XX centuries. This compact opening manual contains a detailed classification, which makes it useful to players of any level - beginners, intermediate and advanced players.
Each opening variation is supplied with evaluations and characteristics of the key moves . The history of the variations' development is perfectly described, as well as their current status. The theoretic material is nicely illustrated by classic games with detailed annotations that demonstrate the principal ideas and plans of each variation for White and Black.
The material presented here was selected by the ICCF grandmaster Kalinichenko .

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans
- Look HERE to find out how to install a .CAB file

CAB Installation procedures:

- No need for serial: just install by clicking on the .CAB
- Serial: link to the serial needed to register
- Request serial: link to the service room for serial request
- Insane: use linked serial while changing name on device to "Insane" with Easysetowner3
- Instructions: link to installation instructions
- mob. part: .CAB file for mobile part, program also needs desktop installation or desktop patch
- Manual: application or game Users' manual
- .EXE: .EXE file to run directly on device

Interesting program. On one hand, it has interesting material and a lot of information. The poor interface however makes it hard to use. All in all, its still useful, 8/10.
