Before closing down year 2008 it might be interesting to let you
vote for the best GPS Navigation software you used in 2009.

This poll is not related to any manufacturer of Navigation Software.
But they might be interested in such a poll

You can only vote once. It will run until 1 feb 2009.

So pick the software that you are most happy
about testing (that is using) in real life this last year.

All the best for 2009 and in good health.
(Invest in 2009 in Solar Energy, not Oil (Oil=War))

Cheers

to admins: Can I place this here until 1 feb 2009?

The current laws of physics are like half the alphabet.
Nice words can be made but we are missing the story.

In my country only this 2 navigation support up to date map...Garmin and mapking. But i still prefer Garmin in my PND device and Mapking on my PDA device.....so i will still vote for Garmin.

And you should put "other" navigation as well in your poll so if other member are using other from above...

For Greece iGO8 is the only one with house numbers, though coverage is still behind Destinator. I voted for iGO8!

I would prefer TomTom if the v8 with IQ routes would come available on pda...it sounds promising

It was a toss up between iGo and Navigon for me. Navigon is cool that it has the ability to show me the exact lanes I should be in on a freeway, but I ultimately voted for iGo. I have 8.0.0.5400 installed on a Nextar X3-03 with Tele Atlas 2008.4 North America maps and pois. I find it far more superior with house numbers and the amount of POI's it offers.

Navigon was always my favorite program. So +1 for Navigon. (Last Greek map Q42008 is much improved too).
iGO8 is second.

Happy New Year guys.
