Not sure what your looking for Walking World (WW) grade the walks as fols:

Yellow foot - Easy Walk
Green foot - Gentle Stroll
Red foot - Hil Scramble
Mauve foot - Moderate Walk
Blakc foot - Mountain Challenge

I have included all the WW routes for the national parks, double click the Aug07MM.gpx file to import the index to Memory map. From there point to an icon which will tell you the route name, then goto the map data directory to find the relevant pdf and mmo.

Hope this is of some use, by the way it's the first time I've heard the highest peak in England classified as "easy".[/quote]

when I have un-rared the files there are only the yellow and green routes, thats what I meant by the harder ones. Maybe its something wrong at my end, I get 1178 files

You should get 1128 files (pdf and mmo). Double click the Aug07MM.gpx file. This imports the index into memory map and your map should fill with the footprints. To confirm the import has taken place, in memory map on the menu goto "overlay/show all". This should give the option of showing all the walk types such as easy walk, hill scramble etc. If you can see a few of the route types, choose "overlay/show all/all" on the menu.

To use the routes. On the menu select "search/find place". In the dialogue type "Langdale". Select "Great Langdale, Cumbr" (the first option) and then view. This moves your map to Langdale. Here you should see a few footprints including a hill scramble and a couple of mountain challenges. If you double click the hill scramble footprint icon (red) it takes you to the WW site to download the files but you need a login. If you just point at the foot print it tells you the name of the route for example the hill scramble at Langdale is called "The Langdale Pikes". Go to the directory called "map data" and look for the "Langdale pikes" pdf and mmo. If you double click the mmo file it places the route on its icon in memory map. Et voila.

Hope this helps.

I have the UK and Ireland in these two sizes but they are now maybe three years out of date and some airspace has changed (like Bristol Airport's control zone). If these are of use to anyone just say...

:D I've got 'em .
never done an upload to rapidshare B4 , so I'll try, hope it works!

These are the 2004 ones that were posted a while back :( Perfectly adequate for VFR navigation, just don't use them for airspace :?
