Instruction: I tested for PNA/PND version only not sure PDA can work or not.
1. Download, unrar and copy to your SD card.
2. Download map here Finean 2008 R5 map
3. Do not change the map name to star.map, use the original map name. Eg. Canada = Canada.map. This only applicable if you use the old R4 map. For R5 map just copy to map folder.
4. Run navigator on your device the map will auto register by itself.

Hi guys, when I put my device ID on the Polnav site or finean, it say no user, as if its not registered, so i cant download updated maps... any ideas?

Looks like both Finean (http://finean.com/en/download.asp) and PolNav (http://220.112.38.86:133//DownLoanTrial.asp) have changed their map downloading to require a device ID - Before you just downloaded the map.

I'm pretty sure I have the R5 2008Q2 maps I downloaded last year. I do not think there have been any updates, but my guess the download change is in preparation for new maps.

I can upload a particular region.

The map is the full version offered by PolNav and works with any R5 PolNav. You might want to try the PolNav a few posts ago (#324). The demo version of PolNav included in the package might time out.

I have not use PolNav for a while since the maps are a year old. I got the version I use in this discussion thread, but not sure when.

Sorry no Brazil. I looked in the CentralAmerica.rar and does not include any South America regions. I didn't get it when it was offered.
