• Install BeCrossword.CAB and 1001_Crossword_Puzzle.CAB files
• Use the keygen to generate a valid serial number

BeCrossword v1.04 only shows supported files in the main memory and doesn't search the storage card.

To open a crossword puzzle:
• Make sure BeCrossword is not running by going to Start\Settings\System\Memory>Running Programs
• Open the file explorer (no matter what file explorer you're using) and go to the folder where the puzzle pack is installed (i.e. Storage Card\My Documents) and tap on the desired file to open it with BeCrossword


you can either install Puzzle Packs using the CAB file or copy them manually to any folder you want. the following file contains all the available crossword grids extracted from the provided Puzzle Pack.

How to use?
Just download and extract PuzzlePack.rar to any folder you want (for example Storage Card\Crossword Grids). now you can open each grid by tapping on the appropriate file in the file explorer.

Comment: Crossword puzzles are said to be the most popular and widespread word game in the world, yet have a short history. The first crosswords appeared in England during the 19th century. They were of an elementary kind, apparently derived from the word square, a group of words arranged so the letters read alike vertically and horizontally, and printed in children's puzzle books and various periodicals. In the United States, however, the puzzle developed into a serious adult pastime.
BeCrossword is one of the best crossword puzzles developed for PocketPC devices as huge number of diverse crossword grids taken from major publications of the world are included in the game over and above well-designed user interface and custom keyboard.
• Interface (10/10): For a game like this, a handy user-interface is what we need. The ability of changing the font and puzzle size and smooth animation while scrolling the puzzle as well as a floating custom keyboard help you have a perfect experience in solving crossword puzzles on your handheld device.
It supports screen rotation while playing and the game can be played in both the portrait and landscape modes. Scrolling the page can be done without using traditional scrollbars which means you can move the puzzle to any direction by dragging the stylus on the screen. However, if the small font size is selected, most puzzles fit the screen properly.
• Gameplay (9/10): There are 19 puzzles available in the game installation pack but by using the expansion pack you will get hand over more than 900 different puzzles taken from several publications. The diversity of puzzles by far is the best amongst other crossword games.
Another interesting feature of BeCrossword is its ability of auto-saving the puzzle. In other words, the last puzzle state will be loaded upon restarting the game.
• Game Speed (10/10): The startup loading is fast and there's no delay in the game. Hints and mistake-highlighting are very fast and no significant postponement is felt.
• Memory and Battery Consumption (9/10): Most puzzle games are battery-friendly since there's no sound and visual effects in this kind of games. BeCrossword requires 597KB of storage memory for the game interface and 1.2MB for the puzzle pack. It needs 320KB of program memory while running and could be installed to the storage card. However, it only searches the main memory for supported files and if the puzzle pack is installed to the storage card, you must open them by tapping on the appropriate file in the file explorer.
Conclustion: BeCrossword is definitely one of the best crossword puzzle games available for PocketPC and no remarkable deficiencies can be found. Auto-saving, hints for the current letter or word, solving the entire puzzle, mistake highlighting, customizable fonts and colors, listing all clues on top of enclosing a bundle of more than 900 puzzles are some of its advantages.
