Need more help, my XDA Orbit wont seem to Sync using Activesync. The connection does show as being connected on boht PC and PPC, but Activesync just keeps coming up with eror "Synchronisation cannot be completed successfully....". Just a though but maybe it may have something to do with the fact that I can no longer access my Usb to PC via \settings\connections. And my connectionnever seems to obtain an IP, both PC and PPC have Windows assigne IP (169.254...) is this normal ??
did u ever found out what was going on? i have the same prob with my treo700wx running wm5. keeps giving me the same error on ip address and wont sync. and i have the same prob with the settings on the start tab. i recently installed pocket mechanic so i thought it could have something to do with it about the settings...but the no sync is just driving me crazy. says connected and i can explore de device but no sync. i was runnig activesync 4.2 and had the prob, upgrade to 4.5 and still the same.

i just posted another topic bout this isue i didnt see this here, im having same prob with xv6700 just started tryed reinstalling activesync and nothing... holla if you find out something....thanks
