I'm just wondering who out there can get a decent reception in buildings with their device. One thing I noticed about my ipaq 6915 in the month I've been using it is that it's built-in gps unit is the best GPS I've ever come across in terms of reception. I *always* have top reception in my car (no matter where it's placed on the windscreen, dash etc) and I get about 20%-50% in buildings. Granted, I've not tested it out in a lot of buildings but the houses i've had it on in...ive been impressed.
Another thing I love about it is the little 'quick-connect' files it downloads when you sync/wifi up which expire after a few days. These things allow you to connect instantly when you open up a gps application. Gone are the days I'd have to sometimes drive a few feet to get my position.
A friend recently got a cheap Medion PPC which can *just* pick up GPS reception indoors, sometimes, and it's almost always lost immediately afterwards. My old Acer N35 couldn't get a reception in buildings and my Medion had trouble if I placed it's gps antenna in the center of my windscreen while driving.
How about yours?
