HI, I am confuse....I lost my word, power point & excel for my ppc

I dont know what has happened, anyone know why?

where I can get those softwares for my ppc?

are you sure you've lost it? word powerpoint and excel are all programs in the Windows directory; check whether they are there (powerpoint is ppt.exe, word is pword.exe and excel is pxl.exe)

If they're there then you've probably only lost your shortcuts to them; go to File Explorer and copy those files, go to the directory Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and tap-hold and select Paste Shortcut.

I saw those shortcuts on windows directory, but I couldnt paste it on Windows/Start Menu/Programs

I receive this message:
Cannot copy pword
Executable and resource files in ROM cannot be copied.

Please help me

sorry I didn't check back until I was thinking about this today :p

on mine, in the Windows folder there are two "copies" of each program; one is 1mb or larger, the other one is only 11 bytes or so (they're the shortcuts that you were talking about I presume?) Try tap-hold and copy the small version, and copy it in Start Menu (you might have to rename it). If that doesn't work then I guess I could upload those shortcuts, presuming that WM5 is identical for all pdas.

Alternatively, if you have nothing installed, as kareem said, you could do a hard-reset and it should all be there; your error message says its in ROM and therefore would be present after the hard-reset.

Yeah..you are correct about the shortcuts thing.....but why they were gone from my start menu? I never moved them.

Now I just updated my ROM, so they are back to normal again....but still curious why that thing happened to me...

Sometimes its happens, like when U suddenly do a hard-reset when pWORD itp is thinking.

on my previous pda (casio) I did a hard-reset and Internet Explorer went into demo mode, showing all its functions; I couldn't actually go to a site >< Then a hard-reset fixed that so yeah. Quite random.
