i have searched google for a good 2 hours this evening.
with "MySportsTraining" on my PPC, the idea of recording / live monitoring my workouts sessions sounds... informative.
so i search for a bluetooth heart rate monitor, figuring many should be available, just like headsets. WRONG! not a single one. all the ones i found are RF transmitters or InfraRed transmitters.

does anyone have some ideas? maybe if i taped my bluetooth headset to my chest and turn the volume way up loud... hmmm...

i searched for a good 4 days.

i'm starting to do kayaking. that means, stretching and working out, etc.
heart monitoring would be a great asset / tool.

what you gave a link to, sounds great. but it is proprietary hardware. HIGHLY medical / hospital kinda of expensive. i looked into Garmin Forerunner 305? good stuff, but $300+.

i should just strap my $100 plantronics bluetooth headset to my chest and listen to it
