I've heard they might shut down internet radio, hope they dont because I have an idea I want to try. Basically what I want is to record internet radio stations/streams into a folder (hopefully I can select a certain time to record it and it can record in the background), then have that folder automatically sync to my pda, then when I listen to music on it or connect it to my car deck I can listen to the recorded internet stations.

Another thing I was thinking is to have a folder randomly pick media files (mp3's maybe videos) up to a certain total size from a selected folder and have it sync to my pda. So I would have a random selection of media to listen/watch on every sync.

I've used a nice program to automatically sync folders to my pda (never used activesync for it) called mobsync, but to randomize files into the sync folders is the hard part.

Any ideas or programs that I should look out for, I would really like a nice free flexible program that can record streaming radio stations, and if anyone knows of a good program to randomly select and organize files into other folders, please let me know.
