If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

Wondering if anyone with more experience can shed some light on this issue I'm having.
Basically problem is playing video files (such as "Hot Music videos" I've posted) from my 2Gb RiDATA SD card. They play slower than usual and after around 30 seconds into the song video stops(freezes) and only the music(audio) plays. I copied the clip to my ppc internal storage and played it off of there and it played perfectly fine. Now I'm wondering if the reading speed off of the SD card is too low to support a smooth playback. I should also say that there are no issues whatsoever running applications or playing mp3 from the SD card. Problem seems to be only with video clips.

Next thing, I used SKtools and tested the SD card.

Write speed: 289.14 KB/Sec
Read speed: 479.21 KB/Sec

I guess the real questions I'm asking here is:

1. Do you agree if the SD card is the problem here or not?why?
2. What would be the minimum read speed requirment for a SD card to support smooth playback.

I have already used SKtools to optimize for "Performance" and "Memory" but neither setting helped with this problem.
Thanks in advance.

I also have this problem, I'm using tcmp and my playbacks skips, could it be the card or the player. I'm just using the generic micro sd card that came with my phone.
