Hi, is there any way to create a shortcut to turn wireless on/off? (so I can put it in my start menu and also asign a button to it ;))

Right now I have to either bring up the today screen and click the icon or click the wireless icon at the top (which also seems to turn on bluetooth at the same time.. :/)

MrT, plz specify your device and its os in your profile settings or atleast mention it in your posts. iac, since i don't know which device you're using i can't help you too much but the following methods may help you.

1. Navigate to Windows directory and find wrlsmgr.exe. now create a shortcut to it in Windows\Start Menu.

2. the latest version of AE Button allows button mapping to toggle wifi on/off.

Nifty app, but makes wifi 2 clicks away :P. Would be cool if it took command line parameters or something.

SKScript allows you to link shortcuts to scripts and stick it where ever you want. I have Wifi On/Off toggled to a button on my Wisbar Advance Desktop.
