If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

hello guys.. i have a problem with my 2 gig sd card. it seems that i can no longer add any files into it nor install any programs(less than 300 mb) through the card though it still has a 300 mb free space as reflected in the info. i defragment it a couple of times and reformat for at least 5 times today already.i also checked that the slide toggle at the side of the card is not locked.are there settings that need to be adjusted, perhaps in memmaid, pocket mech or sk tools? my device is spv M1500 ppc2003se.. i would gladly appreciate your advice here. thanx

Did you also try to use either another cardreader or card?

thank you for the reply LZF,its kinna rare to see some replies nowadays..appreciate it a lot esp coming from you.

yes i have.i noticed that after formatting the card i was able to add files up to its limit (1.9 gb).i did this just to test if the problem was with the card, obviously that has been ruled out.. i reformatted again, this time i copied its original contents and tried to add a file.it was good. but after inserting the card to my device, there it goes again...cant install anything in the card, cant add any files in the card..

hope my last resort is not a hard reset and installing back each program one by one..

i will wait for your advice on this before i actually do the 'hard reset' solution bro. once again. thank you for the reply.

ok i did a hard reset and installed all my programs back.. but when i hit the 700 mb memory available in my sd card, the same problem occurs..now im wondering if theres a limitation as to the number of applications or files allowable in a card or any settings from a particular program that would limit this. this has been quite a puzzle for me. surely my sd is not the problem.
any experts opinion is highly appreciated. thanks

Never heard sth about that. I think the storagecard isn't completely supported by your device...

thank you for the reply Phex..
i did a little experiment by adding files and folders to my card and expectedly, its a no go. can not create a directory due to lack of memory was flagged though there is still enough memory so i tried to add the files to an existing folder (my documents) in the card and everything went well.
my question now is that is there a limitation to the number of directories (folders) in an SD card? and if so, could this be tweaked?
thank you once again mates, ideas would be highly appreciated.

What file format is the SD Card? FAT or FAT32?

Well: here is my problem. I got and SC card named Nokia 4GB, not transflash card. I was able to use under windows in my Artemis WM 6 (namely vanilla 2.01), but never able to do so under Flashing status (meaning when I wanted to flash any new ROM). That pushed me to flash it inside my Artemis but always failed, by either the usual explorer, or Resco explorer. I thought the card was messed-up, so I flashed it inside laptop into FAT32, and now I am able to use it only in laptop but not by my Artemis.
Is there any solution for that?

I do appreciate all helps.

If Panasonic SDFormatter at a PC doesn't work it surely a hardware problem. Try to get a warranty replacement for your sd card.

is it possible that it's just broken? i had a sd card that split down the middle, and i taped it back together. i'm able to read from it, but it will not accept any writing, deleting, or formatting whatsoever.
