If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

I'm looking for a program where I can talk into my phone and then it will type out a text message or email, so I can say... send it while driving and not have to worry about typing an entire message out.

I have the HTC Touch with WM6.

Is there such a program out there for wm6? A friend of mine has a blackberry Pearl, I believe, with T-mobile and has that program. Now blackberry sucks in my opinion. So I'm hoping that the program was converted by one of you fine people here or found somewhere and can be used on a Windows Mobile device.

I checked the forums... but maybe I overlooked it???

Please reply with any help or thoughts...

Thanks!! :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately, there isn't a program that does this off the pocket pc directly (afaik). There are a couple maybe that you could do it on the PC and transfer it over (which would seem useless to you).

I wanted to know that too.

Should be doable, but I also presume it takes a lot of space.

The A900 "blade" had a program.. you had to repeat a cadre of words for about 3 minutes then the program was setup and was supposedly "used" to your diction of speaking.. It worked fairly well and I LOVED it.. I wonder if a programmer could get the program and do their thing with it... the program on the blackberry is vlingo.com.. im still pissed its not out there for the windows mobile. because in my opinion .. this type of program is the evolution in texting...

did u read or are the winmo phones not a ppc? lol

Nuance Voice Control lets you make phone calls, set appointments, dictate short emails and view web pages on your Blackberry, Treo or Pocket PC using your voice instead of typing. Just press the Direct Connect button and speak! It’s never been easier to get the most from your mobile device.

that's true... but when you go through the payment process you can see that there is only one PPC that it will run with... i think you need that special Direct connect button that not all PPCs have...
