I honestly think this a very very bad question to put.
You are now starting a fight, because You will find a lot of different opinions.
For example I have also a TyTn II and regret very much buying it. As a phone, it is the worst I have ever had.

I have tested HTC Tytn II and think its cool phone but, i prefer HTC Touch diamond. Really nice and slim phone.
Just too bad Diamond dont have the Expansion Slot microSD™ memory card

I am waiting atm for the HTC Touch HD phone

Pathetic question! What's 'best' for one person is not 'best' for another, one persons 'can not live without' feature will not even get used by another...... grrrrr.

well if you want hardware keyboard then the choice is HTC Touch Pro, if you do not need the hardware keyboard , wait a lil and buy the HTC Touch HD - these two are my personal favorites

well don't know wich one but don't choose diamond, the battery is the main problem, i manged to recharge the phone 3 times in one day , second it heaths itself, i think omnia is best its on first place in skkv tools benchmark

i have the touch cruise. while i do miss my qwerty keyboard, i like the compact size and overall simple design of the phone. i had an iPaq hw6965 which served we well but it looked way too busy now that i think about it.

touch pro is nice but the price... the price is outta there for me right now.

Maybe HTC Touch HD. Too bad HTC Touch HD hasn't been launched in my country.

I know it's not an HTC phone but have you guys seen the Nokia N97? Nokia go touch screen at last. Those are the screen dimensions the Touch Pro should have been. Shame it's Symbian S60!
