If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

Hi guys,

I'm using HP iPAQ 214 PDA. With CorePlayer try to watch any Xvid format movie and always get lag (especially when in move there are move moving-action).
First thought came to my mind - maybe PDA processor is too slow for that? iPAQ have Marvell PXA310 Processor 624 MHz.
Secondly, I've try to convert video to another format - Mpeg-4, but then file come 4-5 times larger: from 350 MB up to 1.39 GB.
Third, convert to 3gp format, but get squares (video quality very poor).
So, can any1 explain to me: is my PDA is very slow, do I have to convert to format - witch way best (not software, but video format) or just my original movies' format are broken (or something).
Sorry, but my knowledge about video formats and best way for mobile format is very poor.
Thanks for any help and ideas.

I find that its having a large resolution file that causes problems. The best solution is to reencode it. I would recommend PocketDivxEncoder(freeware) as a simple, fast and reliable method.
