If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

Hello. I have a very big problem. My Pocket PC, a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket Loox N520 has been bricked. It occured this way:
I purchased a new battery (quality one, for FS). I started it, it went fine, I connected it to my PC and borh linux and windows had seen it as device. Then, after a few hours I wanted to hard reset it. Tried 10 times, no succes and now, when I try to start it it get's stuck at the image with the climbing people, no booting, no usb recharging. I really don't know what to do and I need your help/advice.

I tried the following. Hard reset, soft reset, battery replace/removal, linux won\t see it with lsusb command, tried to reburn rom but it's not found as device.
Thank You!

Remove the SD-Card, remove the battery, connect it to the charger, now try a hard reset.
If this does not work try the same with the old battery plugged in.

Tried that. Still the same: only the climbing people image.
What else could I try? I really think it's the ROM's fault. Or some kind of hardware thing... Please adivce

As you didn't change anything beside the battery before it happens it seems to be a hardware fault. Contact the official FS support to get it repaired or look for a complete replacement.

Ok. So I cannot reburn the ROM since it is not recognized by both linux and windows. What should i do? it is forever briked? should i throw it way, or maybe keep the parts? gps receiver?
Thanks!

I don't know. It's a question you should ask to the official Fujitsu-Siemens support. Try there hotline or a licenced FS support partner.

I you can't get it repaired. Try to sell it as bricked via eBay.
If you plan to buy a N520 again store the old one as spare parts source.
