Hi before i have X1 i can click on battery, volume, network icons..so i can se how much bettery i have to left..
and the vollyme button i can disable/enable sound..

There is surely a special HTC shell running (like Spb Mobile). If you deactivate this shell (in settings "today") maybe you are able to switch back to WM's standard shell. There it should be possible what you want.

It's your second device you should already know how to activate/deactivate Today Plug-Ins in WindowsMobile: Menu > Settings > Personal > Today > Elements > there deactivate everything you don't want/need.


If this does not work sorry i can't help you. I don't own a Diamond so i can't try the things i did recommend.
