If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with Pocket PCs post it here.

Hi, I have a HTC P 3400i (Gene). I don't have a net connection from my service provider (vodafone) as of now , but have a Broadband connection at home .

Can I connect to the net using bluetooth on my laptop and my phone ?
Do I need any specific app/software on my pc/ppc (other than activesync) for this ?

If yes, please explain ...It would be a great help ..

Try pairing to Activesync via bluetooth and withing Activesync, allow wireless network connections (on PC).

edit: just actually tried it and it's working flawlessly.

I followed the exact steps and the sync was also established ... but there is one problem, the sync breaks (disconnects ) very fast....is there any other solution /application which can help retain the sync...

Delete any existing pairings on both the pc and ppc.
Check that the bluetooth program on your pc has a com port set up and that your pc is discoverable.
Go to activesync connection settings on pc, and check that it is set to use the same com port as the previous step.
On ppc, go to activesync and attempt to 'connect via bluetooth'.
When it doesnt find a connection, select to create one, add device, and create a partnership with your pc. It SHOULD find activesync as a service.
Now you can close the bluetooth menu, and 'connect via bluetooth' again.
