A 5 GB total download limit was placed on Dowwi Mobile when the administrator of Mobilism and the administrator of Dowwi agreed upon having the service on Mobilism. An increase of allotted bandwidth is possible with proper action from the head administrator required. If this is a major concern please contact the proper Mobilism staff.

Dowwi provides its service at a certain cost and bandwidth to websites such as Mobilism. The head administrator who purchases the service agrees to a certain bandwidth limit and price. The head administrator is always given a choice to upgrade bandwidth levels if needed. Dowwi has little say in what Mobilism posts on their website.

Mobilism Market is free and without ads, but comes with a premium feature that allows direct downloading from the majority of filehosts used here on Mobilism.

nice, nice, nice... BUT it also should mention the capacity is only 5GB. I'm not sure I would have paid in that case. I don't think mobilism needs to be so unfair to its users :/

Perhaps not a bad idea? I'm not sure if I can properly comment as I really don't know how significant the desire for windows mobile stuff et al is.

As to the guys grumbling .. Come on chaps, take it easy, these folks aren't Bill Gates, making a living out of this, its just another little teething problem in a brand new product. Allow them a little time to resolve the issue please

I totally understand what you mean and I would have sent some money to support them... But probably less then 25 USD (mobilism market app and VIP status)

I really do see your point but hold fire for a few hours, I'm quietly confident this welll be resolved before the end of the day and you can continue to reap the enormous benefits gleaned from your 25usd (until the fbi kick our doors in).
My guess is that when this was set up a bandwidth figure had to be guessed at, yes, it was misjudged but the important thing is not that an error occoured but how the mistake is dealt with.
(no I'm not the mobilism pr guy)

Hi evry1 and thx to all for help given. Installed yesterday the app, after paying 25 (still no reply to my pm atm), but did not find how to configure it (i mean, when i choose a program it opens a browser with hosting links, from where i can download entering my premium account - if i have - or as a free user with capcha and so on..). Sorry for the (maybe) stupid question, but how do i tell app to treat me like a "VIP" and what should be the real benefits? Even the new "bandwith limit" worries me a bit... Anyhow, now i've paid so, better wait and learn...

Sadly you should have read these posts carefully. The dowwi links almost NEVER work. They are either dead links, or the 5gb bandwidth limit has been reached(by other users).

If you read the initial post the promises of this service and what your donation would provide you have not been factual at all. I would call it false advertising and fraud, but I imagine it could have been an honest mistake.

I make money with every dollar I own. I could have easily turned the $20 dollar donation I made a couple weeks ago into several hundred dollars by now! Instead I used it to get worthless software.

Anyone reading this should know for now NOT to donate for premium use and just use the captcha links through Opera!

Hopefully they can come to a resolution, but I fear this may be a failed project.

P.S. TO ADMINISTRATORS: The first post is still making false claims. It should be edited ASAP to include the fact that there is a bandwidth limit that WILL limit your use drastically. As well as telling them that the system still is still somewhat incomplete as far as having working links. Then, of course, you probably wont get as many donations.
SO...... Fix the problems and provide what you promise.....or else my claim of fraud is completely valid.

Thanks for your time!

As far as I know we're now looking into an alternative to dowwi powered either by us and our old rapidhack system or another existing site that provides direct downloading for filehosts.

maybe 2leech.com? No limits and they have direct leech meaning you enter the link and you can download without waiting. I am a customer there and I have to say it's the best site i've come across for different hosts leeching. You should contact the owner, he responds in no time. Just a suggestion.

An agreement was reached between the administrators. The limit has been removed.
